Safety

The OLAS T2 is a waterproof, compact, rechargeable transmitter which can be tracked by any OLAS Receiver. Integrated vibration and light indication ensure awareness of the tag status throughout its operation.  

 

If crew leave the vessel or fall overboard the alarm will be triggered. OLAS then offers clear guidance to remaining crew aiding in a successful MOB recovery and communication with emergency services.  

For increased versatility the T2 is supplied with a silicone wrist strap and a safety-break neck lanyard with silicone holder.   

The Core gives skippers complete confidence that in the event of a MOB incident, the entire crew are alerted instantly and can take immediate recovery actions.
 
The Core wirelessly tracks OLAS transmitters around the vessel. When a person wearing a transmitter falls overboard the in-built alarm is triggered and a high-power emergency red light gives visual indication and illuminates the surrounding area, all within 4 seconds.

The OLAS Tag is a waterproof, compact transmitter which can be easily worn and tracked by any OLAS Receiver.
 
The OLAS tag can be used with the free OLAS app as a standalone MOB alert system or combined with the OLAS Guardian, N2K or Core to create a larger safety system.

The Float-On is a waterproof, floating pocket torch which uniquely integrates Exposure’s MOB technology. A multi-functional safety aid and flashlight for both novice and experienced boaters.
When thrown overboard, or worn by a person going overboard, it will float. MOB technology senses 6 seconds of water connection and activates the strobe light, flashing once every second for up to 24 hours, visible up to 3 nautical miles away. Separated and sunken water connection terminals ensure the MOB technology is only active when submerged in water
Fitting in the palm of a hand, a feature button offers easy location in the dark. The lens is effective as a distance torch whilst also emitting side light to ensure complete all-round visibility when acting as a position indicating light or strobe. The Float-On can be easily stowed on any existing safety gear or in a lifejacket pocket. 

Short Description
The OLAS N2K tracks up to 25 OLAS transmitters around a vessel. If an OLAS transmitter goes missing or the manual MOB button is pressed the N2K can alert in the following places.

• OLAS N2K’s internal alarm and emergency light.
• NMEA 2000 network – issuing the NMEA 2000 MOB PGN and an internal MOB AIS alert.
• Exposure OLAS mobile App (iOS / Android).
• The vessels speaker (via the OLAS Connect).
• The OLAS Emergency light (via the OLAS Connect).
• Stop the vessels engine (via the OLAS Engine cable).
